Garden Birds

It's Fall and I'm still enjoying my birds. I don't have the numbers that I had before, but I still have a lot around. Some have left for the winter; others are thinning out in numbers. I'm starting to see some I haven't seen all summer. So eventually the summer birds will be gone and the winter birds will be here.
I am starting to go through the thousands of photos I've taken over the summer months. I have a couple of new albums on Webshots, with links here to those albums. I'll keep working until I've gone through them all. Keep checking back!
I'm still having an incredible time with these birds! I have now positively identified over 30 different species of birds at my house, and there are a couple that I'm still not sure about. At any given time I can have 50-60 birds in my yard, as well as eight deer, uncountable rabbits, chipmunks, and squirrels, a groundhog (we did have two at one point) a flock of eleven wild turkeys, three raccoons and a black bear. One night I even saw a skunk and a possum in my back yard, both at the same time. I spend every minute I can spare watching my little friends. When I watch, I almost always have my camera in hand. I have thousands of photos to go through and I will get them out here as I can. Enjoy!

Check out the video clips I've posted on Webshots. They aren't the greatest as they're from a memory stick, but I'm going to try to get some real video soon!

04/29/08 I am way behind in posting photos to Webshots. I have literally thousands of photos to review from the past year and no time to do it. For the short-term, I have started to post current photos on BubbleShare. Most nights I put a few shots from the day on this site. To see one of my albums, start the slide show to the right. If you would like to check out the rest of my daily photos, click here.
